What if nobody likes this?

I have been crazy on facebook almost 3 years, frantic only this year or so. I am addicted to uploading photos. And dismayed to see nobody likes it. What if nobody is watching? Am I taking photos for myself or for my glory? Am I truly enjoying the process of a mini creation or trying to be the next big shot with 15 mins of fame? Why do those mediocre photos gets so many likes?

Then I think of Van Gough. I am of course nowhere near the leg hairs of him. But what we have in common is that at one point, nobody 'likes' his stuff too. He just kept creating. To satisfy his inner demons. But my lesson learnt from him is not that I am hoping that I will be famous after I cut my ears and kill myself. It is that I will take it easy, enjoy the process worry less about the likes.
