This is one of my first attempts at taking Bokeh pictures with my D70 with 50mm f1.8. Select f1.8, set to manual focus, focus on the nearest focal length and point at light sources. That's it. Simple way to get a fuzzy feeling.
The smaller or further the light sources, the smaller the circles will be. Try not to go beyond f3.2 or else the Bokeh will not be nice and round.
These are made from HDB Corridor lights.
These light streaks are obtained handheld. I much prefer the randomness rather than the straight lines achieved from being on a tripod.
The lights were in different directions because there were cars turning.
These were made from lights from back of the cars.
